What is a .ICE file?
ICE is a module from Ice Tracker, the same format Soundtracker 2.6 wrote and also seen as .st26: a four-channel Amiga module whose patterns are assembled from independently reusable per-channel tracks. It is unrelated to Imago Orpheus and its .imf files.

A module is not recorded audio: it is a bank of instrument samples plus a pattern score saying which sample to trigger, on which channel, at which row, so playing one means running a tracker engine.
