Analyse a .TeX file

What is a .TeX file?

TEX is a TeX or LaTeX typesetting source file. Created by Donald Knuth.

Did you know
  • Knuth created TeX in 1978, and it still typesets most of the world’s mathematics and physics papers.
  • Since version 3, TeX’s version number has gained extra digits that creep towards π, signalling how stable it has become.
  • Knuth designed the companion Metafont system alongside TeX to define the very shapes of its letters.
What Analyser shows you
Open lightweight document and markup formats as selectable page previews: Rich Text Format (RTF, control words stripped to readable prose), AbiWord (ABW), FictionBook e-books (FB2), Hangul HWPX, and MHTML web archives (the saved HTML rendered with scripts removed), plus markup and typesetting source - DITA, TEI, JATS journal XML, reStructuredText, AsciiDoc, Org-mode, Textile, TeX/LaTeX and BibTeX - shown with every page selectable and copyable. Also opens the small sidecar files unpacked from 3MF and OOXML bundles: OPC relationship XML (.rels) and MD5 checksum text (.md5).
Open a .TeX file
Drag a .TeX file onto the Analyser home page (or tap to pick one). It opens entirely in your browser - nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it works offline once installed.
