What is a .RST file?
RST is reStructuredText, the markup behind much Python documentation.

- reStructuredText is the markup language of the Sphinx documentation system.
- reStructuredText was designed by David Goodger and first released in 2001, becoming the core markup of the Python Docutils project when it launched in 2002.
- Since 2008 it has been the core markup of Sphinx, the documentation generator behind much of the Python ecosystem.
