What is a .NWC file?
NWC is the lightweight cache Navisworks creates from a CAD model.

- An NWC is exported from CAD or laser-scan software, capturing just the geometry and properties Navisworks needs so it can reopen heavy models quickly.
- Navisworks was created by a Sheffield firm, a subsidiary of Lightwork Design, before Autodesk bought it in 2007.
