What is a .JS file?
JavaScript (JS) is the programming language of the web.

- JavaScript was famously written by Brendan Eich at Netscape in just ten days in 1995.
- JavaScript was first codenamed “Mocha”, then briefly “LiveScript”, before its final name was announced with Sun Microsystems.
