What is a .WSP file?

WSP is a project file used by Wondershare Filmora. Created and opened by Filmora.

Did you know
  • Filmora grew out of Wondershare’s earlier consumer video editors and took the Filmora name in a 2015 rebrand.
  • Wondershare, the company behind Filmora, was founded in Shenzhen in 2003 by Tobee Wu and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in January 2018.
  • A Filmora .wsp project holds no video itself - it just references your source clips by path along with the edit decisions, so moving or deleting the originals breaks the project.
What Analyser reads
Identify and read video-editing project files: the After Effects XML project (AEPX); Wondershare Filmora (WFP, WSP); and CapCut drafts (draft_content.json) - canvas resolution, duration, tracks and material counts. After Effects (AEP, AET), Premiere Pro (PRPROJ, PREL), DaVinci Resolve (DRP, DRT) and VEGAS Pro (VEG, VF) projects now open in full viewers - see those entries.
Depth of analysis
.WSP is an identification-grade format: Analyser recognises it from its bytes and decodes the header metadata it carries, rather than opening it in a full viewer. Formats that do get a full viewer are marked "Full" on the formats page.
Open a .WSP file
Drag a .WSP file onto the Analyser home page (or tap to pick one). It is identified entirely in your browser - nothing is uploaded, there is no account, and it works offline once installed.
