What is a .Atmos file?
An .atmos file is the index of a Dolby Atmos master: a small text header naming the two files that hold the content, .atmos.audio for the audio essence and .atmos.metadata for the position of each sound object. The audio itself is not in this file.

- .Atmos is an identification-grade format: Analyser recognises it from its bytes and decodes the header metadata it carries, rather than opening it in a full viewer. Formats that do get a full viewer are marked "Full" on the formats page.
